Siemens companions with United kingdom universities to start Sector 4. curriculum

Termed Related Curriculum, the aim is to carry state-of-the-art industrial instruments, knowledge and techniques into the universities’ respective apprenticeship, undergraduate and masters courses. 

The application follows accelerated interest by Siemens in British isles additive manufacturing certification. Last calendar year, the organization set up a £27 million 3D printing certification facility in Worcester, United kingdom, which was adopted participation in opening a £24 million exploration facility at the University of Nottingham (UoN), created to speed up state-of-the-art manufacturing systems.

The MindSphere Innovation Network 

At the core of Linked Curriculum is Siemens industrial program portfolio and cloud-based Internet of things (IoT) platform, the MindSphere Innovation Community (MINe) which it launched 18 months ago.
